Happy Camp was made to share Christian values and God's love in a fun, safe enviroment with children who would not otherwise have the opportunity to attend summer camp. The entire Happy Camp experience, including transportation from outside the Amarillo area, is provided to campers completely free of charge. Campers enjoy swimming, games, field trips, and nutritional meals. Diocesan clergy perform daily chapel services and an art teacher is in residence during the week. They are supervised at all times by an adult staff and young adult counselors. These counselors provide powerful christian role models to the children and help to create relationships that touch hearts and change lives.
